Nevar530 is bringing a little weird science, and a lot of steampunk goodness to The Sims. Read this short, information filled interview, and download his latest creation... The Clockmaker's Doll.

This morning, Nevar530 shared an awesome clockmaker's tale, in The Sims 3 forums, showcasing his latest work. Shortly after, I followed a trail of clockwork parts, in hopes of a quick interview, to see what makes Nevar530 tick.

Celithralia: Tell me a little about yourself?

Nevar530: I'm a 28 year old artist / designer. Born in Memphis, Tenn. Now living in North Florida (not the fun beach part of Florida). Love Steampunk, and comic books.

Celithralia: What was the inspiration for this project?

Nevar530: Mainly the idea of a female robot... But she kinda took off after hearing Abney Park - Herr Drosselmeyer's Doll, so I guess it was a small spark that erupted with the right song.

Celithralia: What came first, the story or the character?

Nevar530: Which did I think of first? The Character well the doll she had no story then on my way to work I started writing the tale in my head. So a little of both, she made the story and the story made her.

Celithralia: Future plans?

Nevar530: More steampunk / industrial revolution fashion and maybe a few more stories down the line. Not much set in stone I kinda create with the ebb and flow of the artist mind.

Celithralia: I hear rumors that you have a website in progress...

Nevar530: Yeah I will have a site up soon it will have lots of sims 3 items some clothing, skins, all different styles, I mainly working in Victorian and Asian styles. And, I will also have tattoos.

Celithralia: Anything else you want to share?

Nevar530: I really hope the community like my creations as much as I like creating them. Thank you for your time, Celithralia.
